Dhara Treatments
In Dhara treatments, the patient is advised to lie on a special wooden droni and a non-stop continuous stream of the prescribed liquid medicine is gently poured on his forehead from a prescribed height. Kheera Dhara, Pradeshika Dhara, Shiro Dhara, Takra Dhara are used which differs based on the medium of liquid used and the herbs mixed in the medium. Dhara is used for Immune disorders, emotional and mood disorders, insomnia, alcoholism, head ache, hair loss, premature hair greying, liver and kidney disorders etc.
Kizhi Treatments
Kizhi means bundle. This treatment is meant to induce perspiration. Bundles are made out of herbal powder, leafs, a special variety of rice etc. Kizhi treatments start withoil application. The patient is given oil application on head and body lying on a wooden bed. Then Kizhi is heated in a pan with suitable fluids or oils and applied on patients body by a therapeutic assistant. Ila Kizhi, manja Kizhi, manal Kizhi, naranga Kizhi etc. are some of the best used varieties of Kizhi treatment.
Pizhichil Treatments
Pizhichil means squeezing. Pizhichil is the process where cotton cloth pieces are dipped in warm medicated oils on the body and head. Then the therapeutic assistants on either side of the specially designed wooden table dip a clean cotton cloth in warm medicated oil and squeeze in onto the patient's body. Pizhichil treatments are very useful for the cure of all rheumatic complaints, muscle wasting, reduces all inflammation and improves flexibility. This also improves skin complexion and the development of muscles.

Avagaham
The patient is anointed with appropriate oils especially over the lower abdomen, waist and thighs and made to sit in a tub where the warm medicated water is kept in. The water level is maintained above the navel area. This treatment is typically effective in the bloated stomach, haemorrhoids, uterine prolapse, inflammatory bowels, low back pain etc.
Nasyam
Nasyam is meant for cleaning the head region. The patient is asked to lie down on his back on a wooden cot placed in a room devoid of breeze. Body especially head, neck and chest should be massaged with oil and fomentation will be given. This is good mainly in conditions like skin discolouration, hair loss, eye disease etc.
